Real IPA (India Pale Ale). Invented by the English to survive the ship to India and provide the British Raj with nutritious beer. IPA was sparkling, clear and bitter, clean and refreshing.

Brewed to mark our 3000th brew, this beer celebrates the spicy Goldings hops and very pale malt that is the hallmark of original IPA.

Tap to growler fill at Hop Knocker Durham. Pours a golden colour with a thin white foam head and aroma of citric hop. Taste is malt, caramel, grain, alittle biscuit with citrusy hop and drying dusty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
