Bottle on Celebrity Millennium. Grainy neutral, not much aroma, fresh and grainy with no bitterness. Refreshing and neutral-smooth.

Lata, de PEMEX. Pours a flat, dead-looking morning urine yellow into the wine glass. Has some vague malty-grainy-estery stuff on the nose, indistinct in the way a hot dog is an amalgamation of everything scraped off the killing room floor. Taste is more straightforward - just grainy, estery macrobrew. Finishes tart, grainy. You know when you could have bought a better beer but went for the tick? The better beer was Victoria. I want my 14 pesos back.

I have no idea why, but I enjoyed this more than the Corona Extra that I had subsequently. Surprisingly for Corona, neither of them was redolent of skunkiness. The only other time I’ve had a Corona Light in my life was when, after my junior year in college, I hung around town and got a job on campus cleaning vacated dorms. In one refrigerator that someone had left was one Corona Light. I popped it open while I was cleaning and thought that even though it was Maryland in the summer and a nice cold lager might be refreshing, this one was horrible. So maybe tonight’s was better in my mind because of that experience. Whatever.

Flaske delt med Ovesen (heldigvis, hadde ikke greid den alene): klar lys strågul med kort hvitt skum. Aroma av mais og sukkertøy. Søtlig smak, tynn, minner egentlig om brus. Huff&huff.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 02.07.15. Clear and very pale straw colour. Weak aroma of maize and wine gum. Similar and waterish taste. Weak, but unattractive, bitterness of artificial sweeteners. Like making love in a canoo, only less pleasuring.

330 ml clear bottle. (3.9% ABV) Pours a clear pale yellow with a thin, fizzy white head. Skunky aroma with some corn. Mildly sweet flavour of corn and grass. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Thirst quenching in the heat but really needs a lime to add flavour. Pretty boring.

Nothing like a new Mexican lager tick at work to kick of el cinco de Mayo. It’s everything I imagined it would be and not an ounce more. Bottle with lime.

Fonefan 251014. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, corn. Flavour is fruit, malt, corn, hay. Bad beer.

Bottle at Senor Frog in Cancun. Surprised this place isn’t on Ratebeer. Crystal clear very pale yellow color. Aroma of light straw. Taste is papery lemon and straw, light body. Needs a lime.

Bottle 355ml. clear glass. [ As Corona Light ].ABV: 3.9%. Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, corn, light vegetables. Flavour is light moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, corn, sharp grass notes. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20141025]
