Legends exist of a strange being, that wakes only once a year on Druid Street. Once a pumpkin salesman known locally as the Hawker of Halloween, long since presumed dead, he now stalks Bermondsey, stealing his beloved from all who leave them out on this spooky night.
This spiced pumpkin cider may be his elixir, tying together a heavenly mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves fermented alongside a divine crop of pressed pumpkin, creating a bold, nutty and rich cider that would slay any dark soul.

500ml bottle from Brewdog online. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of cinnamon spice, pumpkin, apple strudel. Taste is sweet fruity apple with notes of cinnamon and pumpkin, plus alittle tartness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry finish. Quite drinkable

Keg at BD Soho, 11/10/19. Almost clear golden blond with a decent white covering as ciders go. Nose is clove, apple pie, toasted pumpkin seeds, sugars, all pretty subtle. Taste comprises apple pulp, mellow pumpkin, light candy bar, straw, mellow winter cheer and spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough novelty cider ... feared the worst but the balance was good and the potential sweetness overload was kept in check.
