Hazy dull gold with a tiny bubbly head and a soft dusty apple aroma. Smooth up front, some yeast and acidity ahead of sweet apples then a dry and slightly tart finish.

Still at the Orchard Inn, Spike Island, Bristol. Medium to dark gold, cloudy with some bubbles around the edge (does cider have head?) Light sugary appley aroma. Taste is fairly sweet, good apple fang, some musty notes. Full chewy body with no carbonation. A very very good cider.

Bladder bag at the Royston, Broadstairs, 07/10/22. Clear deep golden with a fast collapsing white head. Nose is crisp apple, tannins, straw, light sugars, apple pie. Taste comprises apple pulp, tannins, light vinous strains, modest sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light drying close. Decent well balanced cider.

BIAB sample from the 42nd Bedford Beer & Cider Festival courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Slightly hazy golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of tart apple, funk. Taste is sweet, apple flesh, some apple core, mellow with funky hints and a caramel note. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-sweet fruity finish. Quite drinkable.
