Optisch klar, Kristall halt, ordentlich Perlung. In der Nase deutlich Banane, süffig süß, lecker.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, malzig. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

0,5 l bottle. Clear golden with a nearly three finger white foamy head in the glass. You can´t expect more. Some banana and orange on the nose. Taste has also some banana and orange, also yeasty with wheat. Below average carbonated. Better than expected.

Herb-fruchtig mit getreidigen Noten, sowohl im Geruch und Geschmack. Nach den ersten 2 - 3 Schlucken kommen die süßlichen Noten deutlich stärker in den Vordergrund. Etwas zu viel Kohlensäure, weicher wäre wünschenswert. Das normale Hefeweizen gefällt mir wesentlich besser. Durch die Filtration geht doch einiges dessen positiven Eigenschaften verloren.

Bottle from Biershop Bayern. Clear golden colour, white foam. Nose of banana. Taste is malty, sweet with bitter notes. Medium body. Some citrussy hints. Not bad.

25-06-19 // bottle at Hofbräu Berlin. Birthday beer. 35 degrees outside so the perfect refreshing beer with a crystal clear wheaty body. Great.

Fles 50cl bij Hofbräu München Wirtshaus in Hamburg. Flink banaan, verrassende romigheid, fris, wat caramel, licht grassig, licht bloemig, malttonen. (5-4-2019).

0.5l bottle. Clear golden body with a whithe head. Aroma and taste of banana, bread, doughy yeast, some grains and a hint of floral hops. Very nice kristallweizen. Funny that it comes from the Weihenstephaner brewery and better than the kristallweizenbock running under their label.
