Hoppy pale ale met een verrassende twist van muntthee. Kruidig en fris in geur en smaak. Een karaktervolle doordrinker met een licht bittere afdronk. Uitmuntend bier dat smaakt naar meer!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Acedrink.nl. Dutch brewery #379. Hazy dark amber with a white head. Malty aroma with indeed some mint. Bittersweet taste with a low bittersweet finish. Too dark for a pale ale. In theory this beer shouldn't work for me as I despise mint tea but this is really tasty. Well done.

0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before September 2020. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite herbal, slightly floral and moderately fruity aroma of lots of mint, lime and elderflower. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, fairly herbal, moderately fruity and slightly floral taste of lots of mint, lime, some elderflower and a touch of nettles, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather herbal finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Alcoholic mint tea is pretty close to it, but it's way better than it sounds actually. It's very herbal but still quite enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Hazy amber with white head. Sweet malts, rooibos tea and mint. Massive herbal tea. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Unbalanced sweet and loaded with spices that don’t work very well with the brew.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro 🙏. Almost clear brown with small light beige head. Some caramel, weird mint, licorice, bready, it tastes like some weird cake with mints and rooibos tea or something, light dank hops, more biscuits. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Well, it does what it says on the label, it tastes like herbal tea. Not sure if that’s a great idea though. Especially when it’s really strong, like here.

330ml bottle from Ace Drinks, Vlissingen. Pours a hazed muddy amber, off white head. Murky minty aroma. Taste has indeed a minty character but not fresh in a peppermint / spearmint way, a little unclear, sweetish caramel malts. Perhaps with a paler malt bill and alternative mint source a crisper, fresher pale could arise out of this.
