Copper-coloured and full of flavour: it’s The Chairman. What we’re dealing with here is a grounded and rich premium bitter. We use a four-malt-mix to give this beer a complex and flavoursome base, and top it all off with just a tad bit of fruity sweetness.

Bottle from Vine and Grain. Appearance - deep amber with orange chinks. Big foamy white head. Nose - toffee and brown bread. Taste - caramel, toffee and brown bread. Palate - medium bodied and more sweet than Bitter. Overall - a bit sweet for this style

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 23/01/21. Clear copper with a well presented just off white cap that dissipates edgeward. Nose is nutty, brown bread, dried fruits, toffee. Taste comprises raisins, toffee, pipe tobacco, fruit rinds, light sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest bitter rasp. Decent flavoursome malt forward bitter.

17/1/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear pale amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, fruit and veg, sherbet, chalk. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery texture, average carbonation.

Bottle: Poured an autum lead brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is light fruits, citrus, and malty. Taste is bitter forward with hops, citrus fruits, but well balanced with caramel malts.

500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Amber brown colour, creamy tan foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, stone fruit hint. Taste is malty, bready, biscuit, caramel, with nutty earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry nutty finish. Quite drinkable.

Tried at the Three Horseshoes. Waddington. Mover colour with s white head. Aroma citrus orange and grapefruit. Taste is light citrus juicy sweet to light bitter. Light refreshing body.
