Blackhill is made from the full juice of a blend of locally sourced culinary and dessert apples and Harry Masters cider apples, which is fermented to dryness, producing a light and refreshing cider where the acid of the locally sourced fruit is gently balanced by the tannins of the Harry Masters, it is naturally carbonated with a fresh apple and citrus finish.

500ml bottle. Misty golden yellow complexion. Natural wild air, musty sour, some moderate funk with a crisp bite, though does come across exceedingly dry. Decent overall.

500ml bottle from Brennan's. Slightly hazy golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of tangy, funky, meaty, apple. Taste is tangy apple, funky, bittersweet, meaty funk with mellow tannins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Very drinkable.
