Hop & Liefde (Hop & Love) is formally known as Pale Ale Citra and one of our biggest selling light ales. Very refreshing and it makes you want more after the first. Very floral, lots of citrus, light grassy and light bodied. Flavor indication: Citrus, grassy, floral, bitter The name Pale Ale Citra is still used for the export to Sweden.

Het is een licht amberkleurig troebel bier met een volle schuimkraag en redelijk veel koolzuur. Het heeft een lekker hoppige geur, heerlijk bitter hoppige smaak met lekker zoete tonen.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden amber colour with a one finger frothy white head. Aroma: sweet caramel malt, citrus fruits. Taste: citrus fruit, grapefruit, sweet, caramel, toffee, bready, mild bitter hop finish. Medium body and carbonation. The sweet malts mute a lot of the bitterness in this, still a good beer though.

Dorada anaranjada con bastante espuma blanca. Aroma muynlupulado, floral.

Drinkt makkelijk weg.

Aug. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle that poured a hazy golden body with medium sized head. Aroma of something I can’t read in my own notes, then citrus, pine, lemon, a bit dusty with a strong toasted bread malty backbone. Flavor was lightly bitter, pleasant peppery and lemony with other citrus fruit hops. Grainy bread malt gave it quite a lager-ish touch. Medium bodied with longer herbal and peppery finish, maybe even a little bit salty. Simple, unconventionally crude, yet a decent APA. Good job, once again.

33 cl bottle @ De Molen, 3 weeks after bottling. Clear golden to amber color (before pouring in the sediment). White rocky head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: firm resin, some citrus. Retronasal citrus is more prevalent. Flavor is rather mild, but has some citrussy sourness and light but upvoming bitterness. Light bodied. Finishes resinous and quite bitter.

Bottle from Taniguchi. Nice lemony citra nose, some orange too. Biscuity malts with a touch of caramel. Very cloudy orange-ambder with a fine, high head. Dry, minerally, citrus. A bit too much mineral, although the hops are nice. Light, crisp. Relatively high carbonation kicks in the flavors. Good enough but a bit rough.
