Like a good Viognier, Pendragon oozed rich, ripe peach, apricot and sweet blossom aromatics when it was young. These become more & more subtle as it ages. Our pet nat ciders are labelled with the advice “enjoy while young and fresh”.

9/5/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of green apples, touch of wood and light sulphur. Light sweetness and tartness. Moderate body. Crisp, dry, tannic and slightly acidic to finish.

750ml bottle from the Fine Cider Company. Abit of an initial foam-over on opening. Sparkling hazy orange gold colour, short-lived big fizzy white foam head and aroma of tangy tannic apple, fruity, funk hint. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, orchardy, light funky, alittle wood & caramel, and some earthy tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Very drinkable.
