Carefully selected cider apple juice from our Dorset orchards is gradually heated to concentrate the intense flavours, then fermented and finished by ageing in barrels. The result is rich and sweet, like baked apples in a glass. At only 7% alcohol, it's the ideal after dinner drink and is a perfect partner for a plate of English cheese, pudding or cake. It also mixes brilliantly with prosecco (for a West Country Bellini) or with spirits, or sparkling mineral water.

27/3/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of baked apple, burned brown sugar, toffee, root beer, liquorice, tar and pistachio nut. Quite heavy sweetness. Sticky texture. Bit of a curious brew.

345ml bottle from Master of Malt. Dark brown colour, no head and aroma of baked apple, funk. Taste is sweet, syrupy, tangy, baked apple, apple pie, caramel, pasty, dried fruity, some funk, nutty along with drying tannic notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish with residual sweetness. Quite sippable.
