Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 30/10/21. Murky reddish brown with little in the way of a head ... not a looker. Nose is tarte apple, wooded notes, straw, tannins. Taste comprises orchard wood, light herb, apple skins, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A light hazeddeeep copper brown coloured pour with a halo of loose beige head. Aroma is spicy tart, brown sugars, bruised apple, some farmyard. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown sugars, mealy apple, light spice, smooth, hint of smoke phenol. Palate is semi sweet, still, light tang. Decent character.

30/7/2021. From BIAB at the Redoubt Beer Festival, Harwich. Pours dark amber with a bubbly white head. Aroma of medium sweet apple, funk, light smoky ashy woody notes, with a spicy edge. Medium sweetness, moderate tartness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Dry and slightly smoked finish. Enjoyed this.

A somewhat compressed gamut of aromas, containing fruitsugars, sweet apple and meally pear, some moss or light herbal/vegetal woody tannin notes. But mostly just clean and tight apple forward. Medium sweet and light tart & bitter. Soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Craft - Organic Medium Cider on 30 Jan 2021 at 23:40 - Score: 7.
