An ode to the classic New Jersey candy. Up-front caramel and toffee sweetness is balanced with light residual saltiness.

31/5/2024. From cask at the 37th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Pours, clear dark amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, bready, toffee, candy, chocolate, sugars. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily/sticky, soft carbonation. Sweet candy finish. Decent.

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Amber brown colour with reddish tinge, creamy foam head leaving lacing and aroma of chocolatey malt, toffee. Taste is sweet, malty, milk chocolate, fruity, caramel, toffee with alittle biscuit, salty hint and some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, finish has caramel, toffee and lingering sweetness. Nicely drinkable.
