750ml wired cork bottle from Pilango. Opened with a loud pop. Sparkling pale yellow gold colour, short-lived large fizzy white foam head and aroma of fleshy apple, funky, citric, hint of sulphur. Taste is juicy fruity apple, fleshy, some skin and core, with orchardy funk, leather, some barnyard, and white wine, citric notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at Taste of London. It pours clear pale gold with a fizzy head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, honey, apple pie, tannin and pear skin. The taste is crisp, dry, yet slightly sweet, apple pie, pear, floral, white grape, almost vinous in character and elderflower in the backdrop with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate, effervescent carbonation. Classy cidre by all accords and good fun.
