From Amstein, drinking this beer yesterday, after a nice walk in the Lavaux with my son. Sharing it with my wife, light and perfumed lager, fruity, malt, dry and sweet, clear note of guava, tropical fruit, bitter, light body, a bit watery.

Lys gul klar med hvitt skum. Lukter guava og lyst brød. Lett. Smaker sirup, guava og noe lyst brød. Kort.

Can from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a clear gold, small white head. Aroma of peaches, some pale malts and light grassiness. Taste again of peaches, dried tropical fruits, grassy bitterness and some spice in the finish. Light bodied but with a slickness consistent with fruit concentrate additions. Its decent flavour wise but a little basic in the malt and hop profile.

A golden beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has lychee, papaiya, even passionfruit. Taste has papaiya, passionfruit, some citrus, very fresh. Almost medium bodied. What a fruitbomb which the body is behind.

Canned (from KCM Linnainmaa, Tampere). Very pale yellow colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is guava, floral, some earthy and herbal tones. Flavour is guava, some tropical fruitiness, herbal and mild earthy tones. A bit thin as for the palate.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Todmorden. Slightly paler golden with a head and a carbonation. It certainly has lager qualities, albeit fairly ordinary ones, but the guava, although not that stated does slightly improve the taste. There's some of the tropical fruit evident in aroma too.

500ml can from a local Lidl; BBE December 2023. Drank with a Chinese takeaway on 26th August 2022. Clear and clean golden body, white crown. The Guava comes across in waves and makes the beer a pretty sweet affair, OK overall especially if you like Guava.
