Spontaneous Five Year Blend.

The ultimate expression of Wild Workshop’s inner city terroir. An artful blend of five years’ worth of 100% spontaneously fermented beer, aged in French oak, creating a complex and beautifully balanced beer with tart fruit notes and a superbly dry finish. The result of five years’ hard work, and a little chance, luck and magic.

375ml bottle from Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured an unclear golden colour with little life. The aroma is yeasty, herbal, citrus. The flavour is over moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, somewhat light, dry, yeasty, oaky, vinous tart, acidic palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Mouth puckeringly sour! Awesome.

Superficial sample from Billie’s craft beer fest 2025. Unclear golden under a small white head. A nice, sour beer. Funk, citric fruit, mild acidity, wood and grapes. Enjoyable.

7/XI/25 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 1 - Session 2 (Antwerp), BB: n/a, 2024 edition (2025-1169) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Pretty clear orange blond beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, earthy, woody, somewhat fruity, a bit weird, something chemical, off. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty acidic, wood notes, bitter, tannins, earthy, very dry, lemony. Aftertaste: spicy, touch, acidic, earthy, dry, tannins, ok but not the best.

On tap at Billie's Craft Beer Festival. 2024 vintage. Fruity-sour, dry and refreshing. Light funk and oak. A nice beer, but a bit dull I think. 646413 251107
