Can picked up from Mr Hop, Vernray, Netherlands and consumed at home Saturday 1st November 2025 watching 3 Body Problem on Netflix. This is super nice, very soft mouthfeel with coffee, chocolate and caramel in abundance, lovely silky touch, it's strong and you've got to give it respect but it's very more'ish', lovel, lovely Impy' Stout.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt, dark chocolate, ash, some smoke, coffee, roast. Moderate bitter, not very sweet. Hoped for more Bourbon barrel. It's nicely ashy/smokey though.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, molasses and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily. 310525

Pours oily black with a tan head. Aroma: bourbon barrels, dried fruits, burnt caramel and some spices. Taste: burnt caramel and roasted malts leading to a medium warm finish. Oily palate.

Smell of red berries, roasted malt. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, some red berries, licorice, tar, coffee. Soft carbon. Sweet, bitter.

Can 0.33l at the brewery. Lightly cloudy, very dark red colored. AROMA- bourbon, roasted, ash, plum, prunes, black cherries, raisins. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, moderately bitter, warming, bourbon, alcohol, ash, roasted, plums, raisins, berries, brandy. Fuller to full bodied. Great crossover between barley wine and imperial stout.
