440 ml can, as Monkey Brew Jesus 2025 Double Bock. ABV is 9.4%. From Vinmonopolet Stavanger Tasta. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of brown malts and brown bread, a hint of caramel and nuts. Fairly sweet flavour with the same elements, more distinct caramel now.

Sample from bottle. Deep brown body under a moderate sized tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel and toast. Taste is smooth roasted malt, caramel, dry fruit and balanced bitterness. Well balanced and nice, tasty bock.

Mørk brun med fint beige skum. Lukter brent karamell og røstet malt. Søt og myk i munnfølelese. Mørk karamell, svisker, malt i smaken. Dette var godt:-)

Pre-Christmas speed ticking with Gunnfryd @ Håndverkeren. Dark brown body under a beige head. Arom of malt, toast, and caramel. Taste is roasted malt, caramel, some dry fruit and balanced bitterness. Fine body with nice aftertaste. A nice, rather classic dobbelbock.

Håndverkeren 301123. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, roasted malt, caramel. Flavor is alcohol, caramel, roasted malt, pine, grapefruit, fruit, chocolate. Nice beer.

2023. Mørk brun med lys brunt skum. Lukter anis, mørk sirup noe sjokolade, sirupkjeks og kaffe. Fyldig. Søt, maltig. Smaker lett brent karamell, nøtter, sjokolade, anis, mørke kjeks og noe pepperkaker. Middels lang.

Can, at Håndverkeren. It pours a clear dark amber to brown body under a small light beige head. Malt driven aroma with toffee, dark dried fruit and chocolate. It's full bodied and soft on the palate, nicely carbonated. Not too sweet. Roasted malts, toffee, chocolate and dried fruits in the flavor. Nice bitterness level. Lasting finish. Far from complex, but pleasant indeed. 231103
