An IPA with brett - a big citrusy tropical hit from cascade and centennial hops find balance with our very own brettanomyces strain. Notes of orange, a farmhouse funk that developes with age, and a dry finish.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Fruity, minimally yeasty funky and sweet-ish, minimally bready, malty aroma, notes of red berries, mostly strawberry, leafy hints of corresponding shrubs, some peach and apricot as well, dry hints of fruit parings. Taste is sweet-ish malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty funky, notes of strawberry, some peach and apricot, tart-ish, fruit acidic undertones, a touch of grape sugar, overtones of white wine. Minimally mushy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Nice subtleties - pretty good.

Hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head that reduces fairly quickly with an audible crackle. Palate is light and dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts provide a modicum of sweetness. Funky savoury citric fruits, particularly tangerine and mandarin. Little fresh orange. Light savoury finish. Comes together really well, I wish Redchurch would do more beers like this instead of the endless procession of sours.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a misty pale gold, thin white bubbles gracing the top. Aroma has wild, brett-like floral notes. Taste is distinctly thorny, woody, salty even, with a sharp brett tang that permeates throughout. Some faint mirage-like hop moments, but that brett really is savage. Not sure how I feel about this.

At Pre-Borefts tasting. Aroma of juicy orange, grapefruit and mango. Taste has grapefruit, fruit juice, citrus, caramel and a nice dank orange juice flavor. Very good.

Bottle @ Pre-Borefts tasting. Murky yellow-ish color, small white head. Smell and taste wheat, tart, yeasty, more a saison rather than an IPA. Don't like it.
