A very special release for us Stout Porter is a tribute to London's illustrious brewing history.

Richer and more robust than our classic Railway Porter, bursting with roast coffee and dark chocolate flavours.

Can @Les Vignerons (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma media color cappuccino, molto persistente. Al naso note di cioccolato fondente e caffรจ, molto intensa. In bocca รจ equilibrata, con attacco dolce e chiusura amara caffettosa. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Strepitosa.

330ml bottle: BB 4th Feb 2021. Drank at home on 16th Apr 2020 during the virus lock in. Poured into a thistle shaped glass, it looked good, black with a smooth tanned head that lasted. Over roasted/singed malty aroma and taste, coffee beans and dirty chocolate notes, nice!

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a ring of beige head; rich tarry chocolate aroma with a touch of smoke and coffee; smooth in the mouth with heavily roasted malts giving an intense coffee flavour; and a bitter coffee ground finish. Good.

Rocky tan head stayed on a still black body. Heavy malt, liquorice & chalk aroma. Medium bodied, super smooth & clean on the back. Berries, coal, tar, coffee & cigarette tastes with a long bitter finish. Excellent!

Black beer, decent light brown head. Chocolate and coffee aroma. Toasted malt, dark chocolate, bitter coffee and a little liquorice flavour. Rich, earthy malt in the finish with some of the aniseed. I could live without the anise but this is a nice, rich beer.
