Bottle, thx Kenneth. A dark chocolate brown beer, hazy, and topped by a small firm dark beige head. The aroma has a rich maltyness, bread, treacle, some toffee and dark chocolate, and a touch of dark dried fruits. Sort of meaty too. It's full bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, quite sweet, but not cloying. Toffee, treacle, dried dates, brown sugar, dark rye bread, some caramel and dark chocolate in the flavor. Even a hint of mocha in the far back. Long, delicious finish. Really delicious this one. Moreish indeed. 200403
