KYGG 130222. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is smoked, roasted, coffee, licorice. Flavor is smoked, roasted, chocolate, licorice, alcohol, alcohol, dried fruit, coffee. Nice beer.

Can. A murky brown beer with a dense two-finger dark beige head. Nice lacing. Phenolic, smoked aroma with dark chocolate, licorice hints, some alcohol and burnt malts. It's full-bodied, lighlty warming, with a decent bitterness. Nice carbonation. Roasted malts, booze, licorice hints, burnt malts, some smoke hints and cocoa in the flavor. Long finish. Not a beer for Christmas dinner this one, maybe for some time late in the evening. 220213

Can. Dark brown body under a big, dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt and coffee, just a faint hint of smoke. Taste is smooth and malty with coffee, dry fruit, brown sugar, balanced bitterness and a faint hint of smoke. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Not very complex, but tasty and well made.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. Fawn-coloured head to a coal black body, spotty lacing. Chocolate malts on the nose, lightly smoked. Malt-driven taste, moments of grainy chocolate, liquorice and some spices. Rounded roasted ending, mid-sweet. Fine bodied. Pleasing. (Tromsø 23.01.2021).
