From tap at Van Moll Fest 2022. Coffee upfront with dark malt, roast, chocolate. On the sweet side, bitter as well. Medium to full body. Quite alright.

Black beer, decent tan head. Coffee, lots of malt and something maybe with a dash of salt in the aroma? Flavour has a big punchy malt profile too, both sweet and toasty. The coffee is here too as advertised, with a bit of toffee, some dark chocolate and there's definitely some salt in the flavour too. Not much, just enough to notice it and add a bit of a tang in among all the hearty, rich flavours. Has a big rich body too, a bit of boozy warmth but no alcohol sharpness or burn. Just a warming stout-y quality that you want in every impy. Lovely stuff.

Can from Hopduvel. Cloudy black, small, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of espresso, coffee bean, vanilla, toasted brown bread, cigar, prune, chocolate powder, Irish coffee. Taste has sweet plum, prune & pear in a dark-chocolatey, brown-bready malt body with bitter edges of coffee bean and a gentle meaty-umami note. Earthy hoppy finish offering bitter espresso, tobacco and warming coffee liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Balanced but pleasantly full-on coffee brew.
