On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. A lightly hazy yellow beer with an orange hue. A small white head sits on top. There's some grains, grass and hay on the nose, mostly it's fruity, citrusy scents. It's medium to full-bodied, soft and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness for the style. The flavor has a light malty sweetness, with grass and hay notes, and a more pronounced citrus touch than in the aroma. Lasting finish. A bit sweet this one perhaps, but sure nice. 191005

Varm gylden. Uklar. Middels høyt kremaktig skum som daler passe fort. Aroma av gress & malt. Smaken søt. Gjenspeiler aromaen. Tørr avslutning som ga mersmak.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady white head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Cloudy golden body. Inviting aromas of ripe fruits, hints of orange. Well blended taste of noble hops, orange, and grainy malts. Rounded fruity bitterness to the ending. Very smooth in the mouth. Pretty nice. Shared with Snorre. (Tromsø 24.05.2020).

7-3-6-3-13 Can, #1299, ten months before bbd. Pours hazy pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is zesty hops with herbal notes, grass and citrusy notes of lemon, as well as pale malts with white bread and some buttery notes. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is zesty hops, with grass, herbs and citrusy notes of lemon and sweet orange peel, as well as pale malts with white bread.

Sykes. Haanbryggeriet are now the pils masters in Norway. This one was really a pleasure to drink. And I am normally not a pils lover. Mostly because I have been raised with dull sweet Norwegian macro pilsner. German and Czech pilsners are normally far better. This one was smooth and easy drinkable. Fine balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Mild malty, mild citric, mild herbal and mild fruity flavor Yummi [Can from Master K]

Notert på ølfestivalen på Nibbe, okt-19: lett uklar korngul med ok skum. Floral aroma og smak med gress og citrus i tillegg. Opplevde den desverre som nokså forglemmelig. Fortjener sikkert et gjensyn og ny rating ved neste høve. Servert fra fat.
