Thin tan head left a spotty cover on a black still body. Malt, coal & berry aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a clean back. Malt, smoked, roasted, caramel & toffee tastes with a hoppy finish. It's a good one!

Can from the brewery. Aroma combines a grassiness with light coffee and underlying citrus. Opaque cola. Foamy beige head. Medium bitter. Peripheral sourness. Some creamy sweetness. Stone fruit, dark berries and creamy coffee. A pinch of gravy later appears. Medium. Creamy. Pretty flat carbonation, a slight prickle. Long dry finish. A smooth Black IPA with the hops and coffee balanced our by a creaminess. Edit: after a some Boursin it really develops a blackcurrant flava.
