Pours black, darker head than the version 001 ( quite a bit, actually ) Scent is full, roasty, vanilla doesnt really show. Taste is full, silky, vanilla, sweet, milder booze than 001 , but it actually is less plesant. Due to the vanilla, you sure expect a soft, gentle, sweet Imperial stout base ( in my preference) . The boozyness, albeit less intense than 001 , thus contradicts the beer more in this 002. That makes it hard to pick a favorite. The others in the tasting party seemes to have a favorite ( different one to different people) but i'm torn in between both.

Bottle 002, 14.3%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey, barrel and a little bourbon. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey, little bourbon, sweet, warming, liquorice, dark chocolate, wood and medium bitter.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is huge vanilla, caramel, chocolate, coconut, taste is similar, rich, sweet.
