Nothing screams ”This is summer“ like fresh cucumber. Add a hint of elderflower and you‘ve got yourself a perfect lazy day combo.

We infused this cider with freshly picked blossoms of Styrian elder bushes, fermented cucumber juice from Seewinkel and a twist of Lemon Drop hops, which adds notes of green tea, citrus, mint and melon.

0,33 flaske delt med skibsrederen under brygging av årets juleøl: uklar korngul med fint skum. Tydelig preg av agurker (både ferske og syltede) sammen med gule epler. Både forfriskende og interessant.

3/10/2019. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a bubbly just off-white head. Aroma of pickled gherkins (which I'm quite partial to), plus light grassy, apple and floral notes. Very little gherkin in the taste, more semi-sweet apples with light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Nice developing tartness. Not sure I'd seek it out again but as a one off I liked this.

330ml bottle from Ciderwinkel. Slightly hazy pale yellow gold colour, white foam head that retains and aroma of pickled gerkins. Taste is apple, fleshy along with sour pickled gerkin and cucumber flavours. Smooth foamy mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour finish. Interesting, quite drinkable.

International Cider Festival 2019. Sample. Unclear pale golden with some white head. Massive pickle and some dry apple cider underneath. Moderate sweet and bitter, mostly weird gurkytime, little salt maybe even. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fun, but not again. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Lazy Day on 01 Jun 2019 at 22:11 - Score: 5. Original review text: Cider Festival 2019. Sample. Unclear pale golden with some white head.
