75 cl bottle. medium to dark gold with a big head at first but it is instantly gone. Lots of bubbles from the start. Warm apple aroma, slightly sweetish but a decent tart aspect as well. Slightly sweet, rather medicinal flavor. not as sour or dry as I would like. The flavor was slightly dull, inferior to the fresh, refreshing nose. Carbonation also lacking, with a rather flat, unlively body. Drinkable, but needs to be cold. first time it was cool, and not as good.

Corked bottle with 4,5% ABV. "Force et Caractère" in capital letters on the front label. Pours with almost no head, only a small amount of carbonaton. Very nice aroma of several different tastes of apples, worth smelling a few times before drinking. Has a sweet start and spicy finish, again some good overlapping apple flavours here, some slight hints of apple stems and wood as well. Probably the first really good cider I’ve tasted.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing - a solid if simple cider - clear, fizzy, honey-colored - smells like frosted apple fritters - that is, the aroma is fairly sweet, but loaded with apple tartness as well - semi-dry, with some strong apple skin tannic character - hints of sweetness in the form of baked or overripe apple - a tiny bit of acidity - easy drinking, just not terribly complex.

bottle. Clear golden yellow. Very pleasant aroma of apples, reminding me of a good English cider. Very fruity flavour, well-balanced, neither too sweet nor too dry, very fruity with pleasant carbonation.

75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. I remember a Forum thread about unusual scoops and Silktork had this one due to having it during the Paris running. So when I saw it in the supermarche in Calais I had to have it didn’t I? Gold colour with thick white head. Woody apple aroma. Good and full in mouth. Bit of sweetness followed by dry finish. Bit too sweet for me, but woody apple is pleasant. Drunk whilst watching Italy beat Germany 2-0 in World Cup semi final
