Bottle sample at a tasting at Yaron's place. Clear golden. Apple, lots of wood, quite dry, slightly sourish. Nice.

Bottle from supermarket shared at Domaine Pouldroit, Piriac-sur-Mer. Pours golden juice that tastes of apples and wood, almonds and a hint of yellow paprika and light woolly funk. Moderate sweet and bitter, crisp tart edges, medium body and soft carbonation. Decent go to supermarket stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre Bouché Breton Brut on 16 Aug 2019 at 23:06 - Score: 7 --- Beer aliased from original tick of Cidre Breton Brut on 29 Jul 2019 at 17:32 - Score: 7. 275ml bottle in Cafe du Chatelete, Paris. Orange golden colour, thin white foam head and tangy apple aroma. Taste is sweetish, apple, with honey, caramel, some woody notes and slight tannins. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry light tart & tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle, red label, named simply Cidre Brut. Dark golden colour, minimal head. Dry, only slightly sweet. Aroma is fruity, with juicy sweet apple. Very astringent, lively carbonation. Easy to drink. Very good.

On keg at Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury. Appearance - golden with a gentle bubble. Nose - sour apples almost cider vinegar. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - a nice refreshing cider.

33 cl bottle @ home
Aroma has ripe and floury apples and some leathery tones. Flavour has leathery tones and somewhat floury and ripe apples. Finishes with some milky notes. Straightforward and a bit too ’floury’ but not bad.
