Dark brown. No head. There's a fair bit of coffee up front, mellow vanilla. Fairly strong, lots of sweetness, a touch of roast. Lots of coffee, and a hint of alcohol in the finish, too. Solid.

Bottle sampled at Ace&Kees festival. Black with light brown head. Sweet roasted malts, bourbon, oak, quite some sugar, walnuts, light spices, molasses. Very sweet, medium bitter. Thick full body. Great!

Ace & Kees 2019. Bottle pour. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, chocolatey, boozy, dark fruity, bit less sweet than monday, less vanilla too, more emphasis on the roastedness. Still very very nice. Still very sweet and big bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Smooth and creamy soft mouthfeel. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Tuesday - 2019 on 02 Nov 2019 at 15:54 - Score: 8. The days are a bit in the wrong order here, but no matter. Typical Cycle: super thick, rich, smooth and boozy. Lots of bourbon, a bit boozy. Plenty of vanilla, without overpowering. Chocolatey base stout, woody, and so so creamy. Amazingly rich beer.
