Bottle from Tavour, 6/25/20. Dark brown pour, nice, creamy brown head. Thick pour. Full on bourbon and dark chocolate, with some nice peanut butter coming through too. Flavor is along the same lines, with tons of those three flavors coming through. Excellent beer. 9/4/9/4/18

22oz on Brian's deck. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: penuts, chocolate, some fruity character, bourbon barrel. Taste: along the same lines, not super sweet, surprisingly. Overall: good one.

Jet black brown with a small brown head. Peanut and bourbon barrel notes. Rich bourbon, chocolate and peanut notes. Roasty notes.

Dark brown. Just a thin head. On the nose, the peanut butter, light chocolate, lots of bourbon and a bit of coffee. Big, sticky, sweet, lots of bourbon, lots of peanut butter, a bit of bourbon-aged coffee. Well, it's got what it says it's got. Over the top but still I like the balance.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is complex as hell, with lots of coffee, followed by peanut butter, and gentle bourbon. Flavour is incredibly rich, with intense peanut butter upfront, followed by assertive coffee, wood, and subtle bourbon. Peanut butter and bourbony vanilla on the finish. Just lovely.

Bottle. Thanks homer!! Pours inky black, medium brown head, good lacing. Aroma is boozy, nuts, bourbon, espresso, vanilla, mocha. Flavor is quite sweet, surprisingly bitter. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Offputting aftertaste.

Ace & Kees 2019. Black with creamy tan head. Massive peanuts in the nose. Sickly nutty creamy peanut boosted by spices and booze and an insane deep roast. Massive sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Crazy.

Sampled at Ace&Kees festival. Black with dark beige head. Thick roasted malts, peanuts, soft bourbon, marshmallows, molasses, sweet chocolate, light earthy roast, walnuts. Quite sweet with bitter peanuts. Full slick bodied. Yummie.

Almost finished the week, time for weekend! This one has peanutbutter thrown in, and it's the first PB stout where I can actually taste it, and it works! Lots of bourbon, thich, rich, sweet and smooth. You've heard it all before. Bit sharp in the alcohol.
