Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, whiskey, lots of oak, chocolate, liquorice, touch of coffee and a hint of vanilla. Quite heavy on the barrel notes. Flavour is sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium with very low carbonation -- I would have liked more carbo and body, it has a bit of an unsatisfactory finish after the very fine aroma.

Bottle shared at home thanks to Bierkoning for the bottle. Black with some brown bubbles and dark beige lacing. Thick roast, licorice, red wine, old wood, soft whisky, earthy, soft dried berries. Mostly earthy licorice with some whisky and dried dusty fruits. Over medium sweet and bitter. Almost full bodied with low carbonation. A little thin feel because of the low carbonation but overall quite decent.
