Bottle from russian store in Rome, drank it nearSt Peters Cathedral, Aroma is malt, raisins caramel. Taste is fruit, raisins sweet, caramel, malt, rye, bread, quite fizxy, nice one.

1.42 litre bottle from VkusVill at 0.5% ABV with a retro label. Could be a new product. Pours clear brown with almost no head. Aroma is rye bread, yeast, dirty water. Taste is sweetish, rye bread crust. Light sweet finish. Mediocre. ABV seems to be too low for proper kvass.

A rather handsome 500ml bottle, no 2l PET this time. Clear brown with a brief off-white head. Aroma of bread crust, sugar, some dried fruit. Very sweet with some fruit and a tiny bit of tartness. Less bready and much less rye-spiced bready than expected. Just a bit too sweet to be really refreshing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Tom L. Clear red-amber. Caramel, cookies, a bit of chocolate, sweet, slightly sourish, rye bread, fizzy. Refreshing and easy-drinking.

Brown color with weak yellowish foam. Aroma: rye bread crust, caramel, a little bit of dried fruit. Taste: sweet, watery, sugar, caramel, rye bread, a little prunes.

Brown colour, minimal head. Some laces. Aroma of bread, sugar, yeast. Light body. Watery. Light sweet bready taste. Not much flavour at all. Fruity & bready hints. Minimal sourness in ending. A mediocre kvas.
