Cask, third at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body, dissipating beige head, scattered lacing. Restrained smell of ginger and bread-like malts. The taste character is dominated by ginger with caramel malts far behind. Prolonged ending. So and so. (Third day at the festival, 24.01.2020).

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. There’s more than a tinge of ginger in here, with a very stated nose, and although at first it feels less stated in its taste, there’s a strong lingering aftertaste of the spice.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Palate is semi dry with modest fine carbonation. Good fruity ginger, not that hot that blows your head off! Little orange peel in there. Light finish. Easy going ginger beer.
