Stockport Beer Festival 2023. Crisp, easy golden-blonde coloured ale. Hoppy pale with an underlying fruity sweetness.

Can from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Highly carbonated. Good citrus hop aromas. Bitter taste, creamy texture.

[ As Hophurst Sonnet ].
ABV: 4.2%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, fruity, light citrus, light peach. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, biscuit malt, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20200124]

Cask, shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast to Coast Bar. Misty golden body, bubbles on the surface, fair lacing. Moderate floral hops on the nose. Citrus flavours with lemony hops to the fore. Ends with a refreshing fruity aftertaste. Satisfying. (Third day of the festival 24.01.2020).

Cask, hand-pulled pint on 26th Nov 2019; The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire. Clear and clean golden yellow body, decent white crown. Citrus leanings in both the aroma and dry tasting flavours. Semi-sweet, semi-bitter lemon like in nature.
