Can from The Fuss Club. Nose is toffee, cookie dough, chocolate caramel, butterscotch. Taste is much the same. Boozy warming alcohol. A bit thin but flavoursome nonetheless.

Black beer, thin head. Salted caramel aroma. Flavour has that, with malt, biscuit, chocolate, a dash of boozy warmth and a nice rich body. Simple but delicious and warming.

Dark brown with a thin, foamy head of modest duration. Birthday cake aroma. Lots of sugary vanilla. Taste is sweet with syrupy, artificial flavors on the back. Full-body, soft carbonation. The alcohol stays disguised. Over the top sweetness with the lactose masking most of what’s underneath. Simple in the end.

Can shared with Loz, had this sat in Frank (Camper) at Therme after a walk around Bad Kötzting, Friday 15th December 2023. I think that this is from my Beyond Beer, Beer Geek Adventkalender Pours black with a light beige head. First thoughts are this is far too sweet. Lots of brown sugar, light spiciness, surprised that it's a little bit thin in the mouth, a bit too artificial. Not sure that we're big fans of this.

Can at home, from an online peddler, Christmas 2022 edition 23/06/23. Black with a good sized khaki head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, cookie dough, mellow roast, caramel, light booze. Taste comprises chocolate cookies, light salted caramel, dark malts, brown sugar melt, toffee, hint of coffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Decent enough easy sipping impy stout if perhaps lacking some complexity.
