Can at home. 5.8% ABV. Pours a hazy brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of dates, bread crust, grass and caramel. Some green apples. Flavour of caramel, dades, nuts, and brown sugar. Has a slick and slightly soft mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Surprisingly sweet and quite tasteful. Would classify this as a bock bier.

Canned (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Deep red colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is rye bready, some toasted, mild nutty and herbal tones. Flavour is floral, wooden, mild spices, some toffee and a bit earthy elements. A bit tartish elements in the flavour, so not the cleanest brew.

Can 330ml (Vinmonopolet, AIH147)
Amber colour, small steady beige head and lace. Caramalt and metal in the nose. Light-bodied. Caramalt, herbal hops in the flavour. A bit hard mouthfeel. Tolerable.

March 2020: 330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Orange to amber colour, slightly hazy. Small white head. Aroma of malts and caramel, hints of over-ripe berries. Malty flavour too, again with notes of caramel and hints of over-ripe berries. Medium sweet. A little more hop bitterness would not hurt.

Dec. 2022, 6.5%: A bit richer mouthfeel comes with the increased ABV, slightly more bitter, otherwise much the same.

Litt syrlig og ikke så veldig juletre. Svakt snerpende i ettersmak.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Slightly misty golden-brown body. Filmy layer, poor lacing. Moderate smell of almond. Satisfying taste profile with almond to the fore backed by dried apricot. Ends rather dry with almond lingering on. Medium bodied. Fair enough. (With the lamb meat at Christmas Eve, Tromsø 24.12.2019).

Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt tett skum. Aroma av søte bær. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken karamell & malt. Mest malt. Ble veldig søt - og uvariert. Brød-deig i avslutningen.
