500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Clear amber to pale brown colour, moderate to small white head. Moderate aroma of Vienna malts, hints of caramel and toffee, also hints of herbal hops. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements. Drinkable, but not particularly exciting.

Can. As Julepils 2022. It's more or less entirely clear, deep golden to amber in color, with a dense, finger-thick off-white to beige head. Some curtains. The aroma has a pleasant maltyness, with notes of caramel and dark bread. Quite fruity too, grapefruit and grass, with a flowery and peppery touch. It's full-bodied and soft on the palate, quite dry, yet with a sweet feeling in the mouth. Bready, caramel-ish malts in the back of the flavor, with grassy, lightly grapefruity hops. Some flowery hints and a peppery touch. Lasting finish. A nice dark lager for sure. Sort of Christmasy too. 221214

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Bright dark amber body, covering beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Smooth caramel malty smell, hints of noble hops. Fine blended taste of herbal hops and caramel malts. Rounded mid-sweet malt-driven finish. Clean on the swallow. Nice. (Tromsø 02.12.2022).
