# 4236; 6/2024. Malty, strong buttery, zesty aroma. Murky gold body; persistent white head. Harsh zesty bitterness, citrus, grapefruit, malty. Strange bohemian pilsner with faults. 1 l, plastic bottle, supermarket, Rožmitál pod Třemšínem (Bohemia, CZ).

Benannt ist das Bier nach Johann Nepomuk Rotter, einem berühmten Sohn der Brauereistadt Broumov. Dieser sudentendeutsche, katholische Pater war Dozent an mehreren k.u.k-Unversitäten und 1862-1876 Mitglied des Ausschusses der Gesellschaft des böhmischen Landesmuseums in Prag; 1862 Gründungsmitglied des Vereins für Geschichte der Deutschen in Böhmen sowie zeitweise im böhmischen Landtag. Das Bier wirkt hingegen nicht so speziell. Es ist ein gefälliges Helles, das etwas stärker eingebraut wurde. Es perlt schön am Gaumen und ist äüßerst süffig. Ausgezeichnete tschechische Braukunst

Golden colour, hazy, frothy head that stays for a while, fair lacing. Aroma is malt, nice herbal hops, some butter. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body. Could be a bit less malty. Good.

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham i H7. Gylden. Nesten klar. Høyt kremaktig skum. Teppelacing. Lett gressaroma. Smaken gress & malt. God pilsner.

Tap at U Prince Miroslava, which seems to be consistently having random rare Opat beers. Golden body, thick white head. Interesting green fruit aroma, unripe mango really. Smooth malty taste, clean, with that same odd fruity, unripe mango, almost herbal note. The best pale Opat I can think of really, strange in a way, but still okay.

Olivetinsky Opat jest fajny, mega piana, wiadomo nalana po czesku do orginalnego kufla, Jest jasno zlociste, metnawe, Pachnie zgniecionymi gruszkami. W smaku czuc od razu ze niepasteryzowane i naturalne piwo, lekki kwasek spora wytrawnosc, goryczka srednia. A slodowosc w zasadzie na minimalnym poziomie. To lubie. Jeszcze nie raz odwiedze najstarszy klasztorny browar w Czechach.
