Can. A quite classic modern Saison. Lightly peppery, mostly fruity, some yellow plum and apple. Hints of cloves. Refreshing and tasteful. 747414 260228

Can 440ml @ gunnfryd. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, yeast and funk. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long funky, citrus, and floral finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap @ Melkebaren. Clear golden body under a moderate sized white head. Aroma of pale malt, grain and estery yeast. Taste of sweet, pale malt, spicy yeast and a bit sharp bitterness. Medium body with the same aftertaste following to the end. Drinkable bit a bit in the middle of the road sasion that’s almost forgotten when glass is empty.

ABV: 6.5%. Unclear medium to light yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, herbs, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, floral, peppery, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, saison yeast, herbs, wheat, floral, herbal. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is lively. [20200125]

Bottle at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma of hay, phenols, grass, cilantro and bread. The flavour has more lime along with grass, cilantro, alcohol, wheat buns and ends a little dry. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a medium level bitterness. Both fruity and malty.

Sample from bottle at Fridtjofen's Yule beer tasting 2019. Pale straw colour, white head. Weak aroma and flavour, some spicy yeast. Thin mouthfeel for its strength. I love lutefisk, but this beer would not be my choice for the meal. If anyone gives me a bottle for free, I'd be willing to re-rate, though.

Shared bottle at the yuletide beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 13th and 14th of December 2019. Pale straw colour. Persistent white head. Aroma and taste of wheat, spices, pineapple, citrus and banana. High carbonation.
