Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white beige head. Aroma is earthy, herbal, some mild sweet maltiness withsome nuts and toffee. Flavour is floral, some toffee, mild nuts, alcohol and a bunch of spiciness in the finish and aftertaste. Nice that the spiciness gives a kick in the finish/aftertaste here, and is not that evident exactly when drinking.

Mørk amber med beige topp. Aroma: ristet malt, mørk karamell, bjørnebær og mørk kokesjokolade. Smak: karamell, mørk belgisk sjokolade, røkt malt, sterk kaffe, lang godbitter ettersmak.

330 ml bottle, vintage 2022, from Vinmonopolet Egersund. ABV is 8.8%. Dark brown colour, large to moderate beige head, nice lacing. Aroma of medium roasted malts, roasted nuts, burnt breadcrumbs. Malty flavour, moderate sweetness, some caramel, again notes of roasted nuts, noticeable bittering hops, well balanced.

ABV: 8.8%. Cloudy medium to dark amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, straw, sweet malt, nutty, dusty, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, caramel, sweet malt, nutty, caramelized malt, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220416]

--Bottled, from Vinmonopolet, Trysil. -- Dark mahogany colour, small head. Dark bread meets caramel and hay up front. Surprisingly dry with near ashy caramel, coffee and floral hay. Really bitter finish.
