1799 is a fruity and refreshing beer, with hints of wheat, and a modern flavor. The beer is brewed with various spice and citrus additions, with lemon and yuzu being the most prominent, with a hint of coriander in the finish. To get the right balance of beer, we have used a hybrid fermentation, with both Belgian and American yeast strains. The dry beer with its fruity impact is further balanced by lactose, making it the ideal thirst quencher in most contexts.

Lys gul farge med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter hvete og sitron. Mye sitron i smak. Litt følelse av å drikke brus. Falt ikke helt i smak.

From can on board Fridtjofen 11.06.20. Cloudy straw colour. Diminishing white head. Fine aroma and taste of ginger, coriander, curacao oranges and pale malt. Good!

Can. An unclear yellow beer with a white head. Rather perfumed aroma, orange, some grapefruit, flowers and a some coriander. It's medium to thin on the palate, softly carbonated and quite dry. Sort of soapy, with orange, some lemon and grapefruit notes and some coriander in the flavor, low bitterness level. Lasting fruity, perfumed finish. A bit perfumed this one, but sure refreshing. 200501
