Bottle online from The Cheddar Ales Brewery. Pours a hazy amber colour with a medium sized thick creamy white head. Mixed aromas of citrus, spice, biscuits and floral. Taste has a touch of marmalade, citrus pith, floral, underlying biscuits and peppery spice. Earthy hops on the finish. Thin to medium body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Decent enough.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright amber pour with a ring of white froth; citrus aroma; crisp citrusy taste with sweet red grapefruit and a touch of honey adding body and smoothness; before a tangy zesty finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle ordered from Inn At Home, Newbury. Aroma combines resin and citrus, with sweet malts. Copper gold. Creamy white head. Medium bitter. Sour citrus streak. Resinous quinine marmalade. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Old school British IPA. I like the bottle - no label, the artwork and script are printed directly on the brown bottle in gold. But the beer is a bit too astringent.

Third, gravicask, at the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Bright golden body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Grassy hops on the nose. Moderate flavour character of ripe lemon and lime. Ends with moments of dried fruits. Accepted. (25.10.2019).
