A creamy texture and a rich dark chocolate flavor are two big features of this Porter. Brewed with cocoa, this beer has a pungent aroma of this ingredient, along with some coffee. With a dry finish, the aftertaste combines the brightness of the cocoa and a slightly sweet from the malts.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee and mild dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet with a medium roasty bitterness. Body is light to medium, bit watery, could have used a more sturdy body because aroma and flavour are fine.

Tap @ Flink Gegist Festival. Black. Chocolate and cacao in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with cacao and chocolate. Roasty finish. Decent.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 14 Feb 2019) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, cacao, black rye bread and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, cacao, black rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and fairly straight-forward. Quite nice.

Can at home. Dark brown to black color, huge sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, roasty a bit and some coffee. Later some botter cocoa. Decent body, medium carbonation. Alright. 7-3-8-3-14

Draft at Flink Gegist Festival ‘19. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, dark malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
