Jack is our Red Ale named after a song by our good friends, the fantastic ‘Doghouse Boat Boys’. It has a complex malt body with lots of lovely American hops to balance it all out.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark red colour. Aromas of malt. Tastes of creamy sweet nutty roasted malt. A good hoppy finish.

Cask at the brewpub in Southampton. Pours clear dark ruby brown with a beige foam. Aroma: malt, molasses, toffee, light dried fruits. Light to moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation.

12/10/2020. Cask at the Dancing Man Brewery, Southampton. Pours clear dark amber/brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, molasses, toffee, chocolate, caramac, dried fruit and nut. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. The best of the cask beer is on offer tonight.

Cask ale, third, shared with Finn at Dancing Man Brewery. Bubbly beige head over a dark brown coloured body, scattered lacing. Moderate aroma of bread and nuts. Dark bread and nuts to the taste character followed by a mid-sweet, roasted and smooth malty ending. Satisfying. (Southampton 21.10.2019).

Cask (Dancing Man, Southampton) - Copper red in colour. Hoppy and fruity aroma with notes of pine, raisins and grapefruit. Tangy and hoppy taste with pine, grapefruit, raisins and a hint of cocoa in the finish.
