Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Murked up, stewed tea colour. Thin and messy, off white foam. Not a looker, by any means. Nose has alcohol. Stewed fruit. Cake mix. Glue. Citrus hops. Some toffee. All over the shop this, but I’m getting it. Taste is sweet and fruity, with a decent punch of citrus, boozy bitterness. Medium body. Fairly slick. Pretty boozy. Rising, lingering bitterness to finish. Craft tramp juice.

Third, cask ale, at Nag's Head. Shared with Finn. Patchy surface, hazy dark golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of dried fruits and bread. Dried fruity flavours, vinous impression. Warmth for the alcohol to a sweet fruity ending. Heavy to drink. Accepted. (Reading 20.10.2019).
