Cask ale shared with Finn at the brewpub in Brighton. A covering white head over a misty late straw coloured body. Spotty lacing. Promising aroma of ripe citrus. Balanced lemony hops to the taste character followed by a touch of citrus peels towards a drying end. Likable. (Brighton 17.10.2019).

21/3/2019. Cask at the Hand in Hand, Brighton. Pours almost clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma of bitter citrus, tropical fruit, hops, flowers, malt and light pine. Light sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Dry biscuity finish with nice lasting bitterness. Pretty good.

Cask gravity at 21st South Downs Beer Fest. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, quite juicy, lemon sherbet, candied orange and floral notes. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, decent bitterness, pine needles, straw, citrus peel, lemon and white pepper with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Clean and crushable.
