Tap @ Både &. Pitch black body with a nice, dense beige head. Nice and strong aroma of rich, dark, roasted black malt, coffee, dark chokolate, oak and smooth, warming alcohol. Flavor is sweet, dark, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and oak wit warming alcohol just like aroma. Balanced bitterness and long lasting, smooth, warming alcoholic finished. Very tasty, rich and balanced, actually quite easy drinkable but superb as a quite sipper.

On tap at Både&. It's a jet black beer with a finger thick light tan head. Lacing. The aroma is quite intense, with lots of booze, roasted malts, licorice and brown sugar. Coffee, dark chocolate and a light herbal hint too. It's full bodied, warming and very smooth on the palate, with quite a lot of sweetness. Dark caramel sauce, brown sugar, roasted malts, dark chocolate, herbal notes and quite a lot of booze. Everlasting finish with a good warmth. A wonderful beer, although a bit boozy and perhaps a bit sweet, even for my sweet tooth. 190515

Solid powerful evening sipper. Not only at Christmas. All year round. Raven black stuff with a solid beige head. Nice aroma with a fine intensity. A quite balanced sweetness and fine mellow carbonation level made it quite easy to drink. Dangerously maybe. Well masked alcohol. Although it was a bit boozy. Dark malt, chocolate, oak, some spices and some roast in the flavor. [On tap @ source]

200ml draught at RØØR. Shared with Finn. Black in the glass, film-type layer, spotty lacing. Quite promising smell of coconuts, dry. Sweet taste character of chocolate, coconuts and Yuletide spices. Lingering sweet malty ending. Rather heavy to drink. Slow sipper qualities. (Oslo 02.12.2018).

Fra fat på Røør. Delt med Rune. Svart. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum. Kokosaroma. Smaken kokosmakroner. Søt. Sånn passe.
