[5/12/17] Draught at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017. Yellow session. Deep red-purple. Big berries, juicy, jammy, some funk, mildly tart, sweetish note.

Draft. Tasted on the 11/05/2017 at Fermentoren (Copenhagen). Purple colour with a small pink head. Aroma of berries, wood, brett and medium tart. Taste is intense red berries, cherries, medium wood barrel and medium sour. Medium sour and tarty aftertaste with a litlle of alcohol presence too. Medium sweet and alcoholic finish. Next one please!

Draught @ MBC. A rather messy sour with a high vinosity, a sweet and spicy thing going on (that reminds me of pepparkaka) and a harsh dryness.

Nice pink fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, deep reddish color. Aroma is dry sour-ish fruity, loads of dried cherries, oak, cherry stones, hay, minerals, grass, hints of cinnamon. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, cherry stones, grass, berry skin, sour cherries, hay, weeds, fresh wood, minerals. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

At Fermentoren: pours dark red with off white head. Aroma is cherries and wood. Taste is cherries. Lightly sour. No vinegar or at least not a lot. Almost like a thick and gooey soda. Easy to drink for the size. Good.

On tap @ Fermentoren. Looks superb this. A deep burgundy red one with a medium sized pinkish purple softly lacing head on the top. What a lovely nose. Intense cherries. Really rich and almost fatty aroma. Kersh Pink ice, hints of almonds and sweet sticky strawberry jam. Smells superb! Really delicious in the taste also. Not super face wrenching sour, but it has a little vinegar tones surly. Cherries and cherry stones. Wow, this is really a flavor bomb and a good lesson in cherries. Like a dessert. It's ice and oily in the mouth and it's just about average on the carbonation. The oaky touch really compliments the sourness and the fruitiness. Lovely stuff. 10.05.2017

Bottle @ Fermentoren Aarhus, 10.2%. Aroma is malt, cherries, almond and a little marzipan. Flavour is malt, cherries, almond, cherry stones, sweet, little sour, red wine and berries.
