Bottle. Unclear amber body under a small beige head. Very pleasant aroma, dark malt, toffee, wood and distinct, but delicate alcohol. Taste is sweet and smooth with malt, dry fruit, toffee, oak, red berries and mild bourbon. Slightly spicy. Fine body with long lasting, sweet aftertaste ending a bit boozy. Very nice even if a bit boozy in the end.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 13.2%. Cloudy brown colour, thick sediment in the bottle, lots of disgusting floaties in the glass. Small off-white to beige head. Aroma of raw alcohol, bourbon and oak, also notes of vanilla, caramel and dark dried fruits. Sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also distinct and quite sharp bittering hops, probably also some bitterness from dead yeast cells.

On tap at RØØR. Hazy dark amber, beige head. Bourbon, alcohol, not a whole lot else. Underlying barley wine not able to break through.

Hazy red chestnut with a small off-white head. Huge aroma of dessert wine, bourbon, dried fruit and fresh oak. Sweet malty flavour with lots of fresh oak and tannins and a touch of alcohol. Could get really good
